The Emeryville Senior Center offers a taxi reimbursement program to its members (or residents of Emeryville age 50 years or above).

Members will be reimbursed for 90 percent of their taxi rides every three (3) months, up to $40.00 in actual taxi fares purchased (e.g.: a recipient will receive a $36.00 reimbursement check for $40.00 worth of taxi rides every three months). Eligibility is not based on income or assets, so please apply today! Call the Senior Center at (510) 596-3730 to set up an appointment for this service

To register for this program, please complete the Non-ADA Paratransit Application (link to PDF). Then submit the application by mail or in person to Emeryville Senior Center. Staff will contact you when the application has been processed and you are eligible to begin submitting taxi reimbursements.

The taxi reimbursement program is funded by the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA) Measure B sales tax. For more information on ACTIA’s funding of this and other great programs, please visit the ACTIA website.
