The City of Emeryville and community groups own and operate three (3) community gardens within the city limits. Below are the three gardens basic information.

  • Emeryville Community Organic Garden
    • Located at 59th Street and Doyle Street
    • 30 garden plots
    • Lockable supply shed
    • Picnic table inside garden
    • Grass park area and benches adjacent to entrance
    • Open to the public
    • Applications being accepted for waiting list 


  • Big Daddy's Complete Rejuvenating Community Garden
    • Located at Peralta Avenue and West MacArthur Boulevard
    • 20 plots
    • Local artisan projects on display
    • Host to Laney College's Eco-Art class exhibition
    • Open to member gardeners only
    • Currently no waiting list, email the coordinator to apply today


  • Temescal Creek Community Organic Garden (TEMCOG)
    • Located at 1042 48th Street, near the intersection with 53rd st 
    • 25 plots 13 of which are ADA accessible
    • First priorty for plots will go to residents of 94608 who live on or east of San Pablo Avenue
    • Open to member gardeners only
    • Currently no waiting list, email the coordinator to apply today
