Shared Mobility

Better Choices and Better Mobility

Reducing vehicle trips and expanding more active transportation options benefits all of us in reduced air pollution, more equitable access to transit, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and improvements in local business activity. Emeryville's residents and visitors deserve safe and comfortable transportation choices. For all these reasons, Emeryville is working to encourage safe and equitable micro-transportation systems. The City will continue to work to ensure safety, comfort and, equity for everyone using these forms of transportation.

The City of Emeryville has adopted an ordinance to establish regulations and a permit application process  to operate dockless shared mobility systems in the public right of way. Find out more here.
