AC Transit will be starting work on the San Pablo Rapid Corridors (TPI3) Project in January 2023. The Project will upgrade traffic signals and buses with Transit Signal Priority (TSP) technology which uses GPS-based detection to track buses and trigger the additional green light time for transit. In addition, this Project will update signal timing coordination which will provide more efficient transit and traffic operations.

There will be trenching work in Emeryville to support some of the infrastructure for the project. From January to February 2023, expect traffic control and construction work at the following sites:

• I-80 off-ramp at Powell Street
• San Pablo Avenue and 45^th Street Intersection
