Storm Conditions (Mid-Day Update)
The City of Emeryville is working hard to keep you up to date and prepared during this storm event. Please note the following updates:
- Scattered showers expected until this evening, resulting in ½ inch of rain, tapering off Friday morning
- Rain Saturday - Tuesday night next week, Wednesday clear, and rain again Thursday (01/12/23) through the weekend
- No evacuation orders have been issued in Alameda County
- PG&E: 198 outages in Alameda County
Public Works Crews are monitoring conditions and clearing debris around the city.
To keep up to date on storm information:
- Monitor power outages via the PG&E outage center or call 1-800-743-5000 to report outages.
- Check the news page https://www.ci.emeryville.ca.us/ on the City of Emeryville’s website for local updates.
- Report blocked storm drains and downed trees to the Department of Public Works via online form Emeryville, CA | SeeClickFix | Submit a request or call (510) 596-3700.
- Remove accumulated leaves or debris from storm drains on your street if you can do so safely.
- If you must drive, do so with caution and watch for flooded areas. When you see flooded areas, turn around don’t drown. Never drive through flood waters.
- If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
