The Emeryville Police Department is experiencing a surge in robberies of citizens at ATMs. Within the past month, the Emeryville Police Department received an increase in calls for service where citizens reported being robbed while returning to their vehicles after using an ATM. These ATM robberies are occurring at the Bank of America located at 4120 San Pablo Ave. In these incidents, the suspects have been armed with handguns and rob their victims of money and personal belongings. The suspects in these cases were seen leaving the area by vehicles. The Emeryville Police Department is actively investigating these robberies and are collaborating with our Law Enforcement partners.
