[ARCHIVED] Emeryville's Low Carbon Footprint

A joint study between University of California Berkeley’s CoolClimate Network and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District was released in December 2015, analyzing the Bay Area’s carbon emissions. The study found that Emeryville has the lowest per-household carbon footprint in the Bay Area. This consumption-based greenhouse gas inventory is the most granular carbon footprint assessment in the world and takes into account each household’s energy use, transportation, food, goods, services, construction, water, and waste.
