On Monday, April 4, the City's contractor, Redwood Engineering, will begin construction our Safe Routes to School Project at several intersections on San Pablo Avenue in Emeryville. Over the next 4-6 weeks, pedestrians can expect to experience construction conditions - such as demolished sidewalks, active construction zones, and temporary detours. The northeast corner of 45th Street and San Pablo Avenue could become especially difficult to traverse during working hours, but will be restored to be passable while the contractor is not working.
