NOTICE OF VACANCIES ON THE
Economic Development Advisory Committee
Parks and Recreation Committee

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there are multiple vacancies on the following City of Emeryville Community Advisory Standing Committees:

Economic Development Advisory Committee
One (1) Small Business Representative - Term Expires: June 30, 2017
The Economic Development Advisory Committee provides input and recommendations regarding City policies and priorities related to the City’s economic development priorities and strategies.

Parks and Recreation Committee
One (1) Youth Representative - Term Expires: June 30, 2017
One (1) EUSD School Board Appointee - Term is On-Going
The Parks and Recreation Committee provides input and recommendations regarding City policies, priorities, and feedback related to the City’s recreation programs, cultural events and activities; public use of parks; and development of new parks, and enhancements to existing parks and recreation facilities, as outlined in the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY DECEMBER 12, 2016, AT 5:00 PM. APPOINTMENTS WILL BE SCHEDULED TO BE MADE AT A SPECIAL EMERYVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JANUARY 17, 2017.

Electronic applications can be completed and submitted online through the City’s website.

Applicants may also pick up an application in person at the Emeryville Civic Center (1333 Park Avenue, Emeryville). Paper applications can be submitted via the following methods:
