Please join us for student presentation night and meet future biotechnologists.
Come and help us celebrate UC Berkeley students who have spent the semester working with East Bay-based bioscience companies. They will share their results in team lightning presentations and posters.
The students have been working with local bioscience and biomedical device start up companies: Nodexus, Atacama, Amaryllis Nucleics, HJ Science & Technology, Inc as well as Berkeley Lab's Joint BioEnergy Institute (JBEI). Student projects range from developing bioinformatics pipelines for Next Generation Sequencing data to fabrication of a biomimetic moisture channeling platform to development of a microfluidic device that can separate cells of single interest for use in early cancer detection.
This will be an opportunity for you to meet some of the best and brightest young scientists and engineers in the Bay Area (a few of whom will be graduating soon and looking for gainful employment!)
