Provide input and recommendations regarding City policies, priorities, and feedback related to the City’s recreation programs, cultural events and activities; public use of parks; development of new parks, and enhancements to existing parks and recreation facilities, as outlined in the Park and Recreation Strategic Plan.

To initiate and conduct studies with respect to those matters affecting the orderly growth and development of the City, and to make recommendations to the City Council with respect to such matters; to make the necessary findings, and to grant or deny variances, use permits, and other planning entitlements, as set forth in the Chapter 4 of Title 9 of the Municipal Code; and to perform other duties as set for in Section 2-3.314 of the Municipal Code.
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY JANUARY 23, 2017, AT 5:00 PM. APPOINTMENTS WILL BE SCHEDULED TO BE MADE AT AN EMERYVILLE CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING ON FEBRUARY 21, 2017.
