The Emeryville Crescent Marsh is part of a potential site for the Resilient by Design Bay Area Challenge. The Resilient by Design Bay Area team will choose a third of the potential sites for design projects. Public comments in support of the "Connecting Communities Through Water - Oakland Gateway Area" design opportunity will increase the odds of the Emeryville Crescent Marsh being chosen for design work.
The site/opportunity is described at www.neigborland.com/resilientbay/connecting-through-water. It is inspired partly by the Gateway Park proposal for the Bay Bridge touchdown, which included access to the bike bridge from Emeryville. Comments are due by Thursday, December 1st.
