[ARCHIVED] Join Us at the Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting on December 7

The City of Emeryville's annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Friday, December 7, from 5:30 - 8:00 PM at City Hall in Emeryville.  Come grab a seat on the curb and enjoy the parade!  After the parade, head over to City Hall and enjoy the Tree Lighting Ceremony where there will be music, dancing, and a special visitor!

This event will include road closures in the neighborhood.  The parade will begin at 5:30 PM at the Emeryville Child Development Center (1220 53rd Street, Emeryville).  It will then travel Westbound on 53rd Street, take a left turn onto Hollis Street, travel Southbound on Hollis Street, then turn left onto Park Avenue and travel Eastbound on Park Avenue until it end at Haven Street.  The Parade will end at City Hall (1333 Park Avenue, Emeryville).  The Tree Lighting Ceremony will start shortly afterward and end at 8:00 PM.

Road Closures

There will be several road closures to accommodate the parade route on December 7.  Detours will be clearly marked.  Traffic on Hollis Street will detour to Horton Street between 53rd Street and 40 Street.

Cars will be able to enter/exit Emery Bay Village from the driveway near Boyer Street.
