The City of Emeryville was recently approved by the California Residential Mitigation Program Board members to be included in the 2020 expansion of the Earthquake Brace + Bolt Program (EBB). EBB provides up to $3000 to homeowners who brace and bolt their homes in accordance with program rules to be used toward a code-compliant seismic retrofit to make their houses more resistant to earthquake damage. While this offer opens February 19, 2020 through March 19, 2020, the offer is for a limited time. The Community can register at the EBB website under “Sign up” this will put them on the list to stay current on all EBB news including where the program will open next.
