[ARCHIVED] Update on Emeryville Services

Meals on Wheels

No changes this week. Beginning next week, we will still deliver 7 meals per week, but the delivery schedule will be reduced from four times per week to two times per week (more meals will be included with each delivery).

Congregate Meals

This week, we began a “to go” service for seniors to pick up meals to take home at. This week, we will serve two meals today (Tuesday), and a meal on Thursday and Friday. Starting next week, we will move to a similar schedule as Meals on Wheels where the meals for the week can be picked up on two days. We are still determining which days they will be available, but they are tentatively schedule for Monday and Friday. Meal pickup is available from 11:45am-12:15pm.

The 8 To Go Paratransit Shuttle

The shuttle is continuing normal scheduled operations. However, we are limiting rides to only one passenger in the vehicle at a time and are sanitizing the van more frequently. Additionally, we are asking riders to limit rides to medical appointments and grocery store visits only. The program runs 9am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-5pm Monday-Friday.
