The Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society has begun increasing the capacity of their free Pet Food Pantry, which provides food to families who may be struggling financially and are in need of some assistance in caring for their pet.
On Friday, May 15, they received over 26,000 lbs of dog and cat food and are now established as a Northern California distribution hub for donated pet food. All of this food will be given away for free to those who need a little help caring for their pet.
