June 2, 2020 City Council Meeting has been Cancelled
Items rescheduled to next Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
This is to notify you that, due to the establishment of a County-wide curfew, the regularly scheduled meeting of the Emeryville City Council has been cancelled. The Mayor and Council Members are deeply concerned for the safety of our City staff and the public, and to also want to allow time for the development of an additional agenda item to update the community on recent events and to announce our strategies to support our local small business community that have been affected by the civil unrest experienced in our City.
The items previously scheduled for the June 2nd meeting will be heard at a special meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 9th, including the Urgency Ordinance establishing a Rent Repayment Plan For Rent In Arrears To Commercial Food Establishments Impacted By COVID-19 Emergency. An updated agenda for the special meeting will be published by Friday morning.
Please stay safe, and, if you are not already a subscriber, please consider signing up for Notify Me, the City’s source for updates and information, or follow us on Twitter at @EmeryvilleCA.
