[ARCHIVED] Emeryville Included in New Stay-At-Home Order to Come

The 6 Bay Area Health Officers issued a press release today stating that the counties, including Alameda County, will implement the State’s new Stay at Home Order now, rather than waiting until the ICU threshold in the state Order is triggered. See their press release here for a full explanation.

As of this writing, the new Alameda County Health Officer Order has not yet been issued. However, a link to the final list of changes can be found here. The list of closures includes playgrounds, hair salons/barbershops, personal care services, card rooms, bars and wineries. Restaurants may provide take-out and delivery only - no indoor dining allowed.

In light of this information, staff plans to close all City playgrounds again on Monday, December 7.
