[ARCHIVED] Possible Protest Activities in Emeryville Tonight (4/21/21)

The Emeryville Police Department has become aware that protests and looting activities may potentially occur in Emeryville this evening.  In an abundance
of caution, the Department has called in additional staff to be on duty tonight (April 21,2021).  The Police Department is not specifically advising
businesses to board up and close early,but is sharing this information in the interest of coordination safety, and so that residents and visitors may plan accordingly. Other
cities including San Leandro, Hayward and Oakland are sharing similarinformation with their business and residential communities, and building managers and businesses
are being advised to alert their security staff members.
